History of the Ship
Allure of the Seas is an Oasis class
ship introduced in 2010. She currently holds the record as the
largest cruise ship ever constructed. She is 2 inches longer
than Oasis of the Seas. Royal Caribbean homeports it's 2 largest
ships at Port Everglades, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. There Royal
Caribbean built a new passenger terminal which provides for fast
and efficient boarding and provisioning. The godmother of the
Allure of the Seas is Fiona from the Dreamworks animated feature
Shrek. Many of the characters from another Dreamworks film,
Madagascar are featured on the ship as well.

What's on Board
The ship features a central park
landscaped with fully grown trees. It also has a zip line that
traverses the ship 9 decks in the air, she has 2 Flowrider surf
simulators and 2-43 foot tall rock climbing walls. An ice
skating rink, mini golf course, and carousel round out the
features of this ship.
Dining options include the main dining
room for traditional dining. 4 alternative restaurants and
several casual eating spots. The Allure of the Seas is
considered a mass market cruise ship but to many it will be an
active alternative to the normal cruise experience.
Cabins offered vary from interior
staterooms to the spacious 2 story suites at 1,599SF including a
874SF balcony. Stylish appoinments are present in all
staterooms. Larger ships can offer more options to its cruise
guests and Allure of the Seas has something for every family and
every family member to provide a unique vacation experience.
