History of the Ship Construction of Queen Elizabeth began in 2009 at Fincantieri Monfalcone Shipyard, Italy. The ship is built on a modified Vista class hull. Queen Elizabeth is almost identical to Cunard's Queen Victoria. She was built with 1,046 cabins providing a passenger capacity of 2,092 (double occupancy).
Queen Elizabeth was launched 5 January 2010 and christened on 11 October 2010 at Southampton, England by HRM Queen Elizabeth II.

| Dining is divided into 3 dining rooms designated by the class of stateroom you are staying in. There is the Queen's Grill, Princess Grill and the Brittania dining rooms. Additional restaurants onboard include the Verandah Restaurant, the Lido Restaurant, and the Queens Room (for high tea). |
